Who we are
Forgexity Inc. (‘we’, ‘us’) is responsible for the personal information we collect through forgexity.com and in our work with prospective and existing clients. You can contact us at hello@forgexity.com or by post at 1502-2967 Dundas St. W., Toronto, Ontario M6P 1Z2, Canada.
What we collect
When you use our contact form or email us, we collect your name, email address, company and whatever you choose to tell us in your message.
If someone refers you to us, we may receive your name, contact details and some context about why they thought we could help. When we first contact you, we’ll tell you who referred you.
We don’t collect sensitive information, and we don’t buy contact lists or collect contact details for cold outreach.
Why we use it
We use your information to respond to your enquiry or follow up on a referral, to keep track of potential and ongoing work with you, and, if we work together, to manage that relationship. Our legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, performing our contract with you, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and referrals and managing our client relationships. We don’t use your information for marketing without your consent, and we never sell it. We don’t make automated decisions about you.
You don’t have to give us any information, but we can’t reply to you without an email address.
Who processes it
We use a small number of service providers: Cloudflare (website hosting, analytics and spam protection), Resend (delivering form submissions to our inbox), Google (email) and Moxie (client relationship management). They process your information on our behalf, mainly in the United States. Where information is transferred out of the EEA, UK or Switzerland, we rely on the safeguards these providers offer, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and referral records for up to two years from our last contact. If you become a client, we keep records for as long as required for legal, tax and accounting purposes.
How we protect it
We use reputable providers, encrypted connections and restricted account access to protect your information. No system is completely secure, but we limit what we collect and who can see it.
Cookies
We don’t use cookies for analytics, advertising or tracking. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and without identifying you, and Cloudflare Turnstile to protect our contact form from spam. Our hosting provider may set a strictly necessary security cookie. Because we don’t track visitors, ‘Do Not Track’ browser signals don’t change how our site works.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your information, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to receive a copy of it. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@forgexity.com. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the data protection authority where you live:
